SUN has six effects from distortion to reverb, each with one big knob. A 3D sun in the middle of the plugin shows you what every knob is doing.

Each effect has one big knob, some have a few small ones too. The sun in the middle reacts live to the knobs and to your audio.

Pick an effect. In the video the knob goes from 0 to 100% and back. Next to it you can compare the effect with the original.
FLARE Distortion
Auto-Gain
- Sound
- A fuzz distortion that makes only the peaks of the wave rough and noisy. The rest of the signal stays clean.
- Sun
- Flames and plasma arcs appear at the edge, the surface gets brighter.
FAN Rhythmic chopper
Tempo-SyncAuto-Gain
- Sound
- Chops the sound in song tempo, like a fan. On every pass it gets briefly distorted, in between it drops down.
- Sun
- Light rays turn in time.
- Small knobs
- DEPTH how much the sound drops between passes
- TEMPO 1/4 to 1/64, triplets too (default 1/32)
HEAT Bitcrusher
- Sound
- Reduces the resolution from 14 down to 3 bits. The grid and the sample clock move slightly, followed by warm saturation. Quiet parts stay free of noise.
- Sun
- The sun changes colour from orange through yellow to blue-white.
MIRAGE Shimmer
- Sound
- Adds short, slightly detuned copies to the signal. It sounds like shimmering air.
- Sun
- The air around the sun shimmers.
MELT Echo
Tempo-Sync
- Sound
- Echoes in song tempo. Every repeat is pitched up or down and gets a little darker.
- Sun
- The sun melts and drips down.
- Small knobs
- TIME 1/16 to 1/2, triplets and dotted
- REPEATS number of echoes
- PITCH −12 to +12 semitones per echo
RADIANCE Space
- Sound
- Reverb in four modes: plate, hall, room and spring.
- Sun
- The sun grows and glows brighter.

- PRE pre-delay 0–250 ms
- TONE dark to bright

Three of the nine factory presets. The others are Ceiling Fan, Solar Storm, Desert Radio, Fata Morgana, Supernova and Init. You can save your own presets as .sun files.
