What do the numbers mean for your mix?
Mix-Scout measures what can be measured. For €24.99 I listen to your mix myself and tell you what will make it better.

Click the waveform to play from there. Red = short-term loudness (3 s).
Most services bring all songs to a similar loudness. If your master is louder, it gets turned down. It won’t sound louder than the others, it just loses dynamics.
Rules of thumb, not a standard. Green is the typical range, lighter means it’s still common.
Averaged spectrum (mid, 0 dB = 500 Hz–2 kHz). Dashed: side signal. With reference: grey.
Vectorscope (left/right = side, up/down = mid) plus correlation and width over time.

Loudness per ITU-R BS.1770 (K-weighting, gating), loudness range per EBU Tech 3342, true peak via 4× oversampling. Platform values only where publicly documented.
Integrated LUFS is the average loudness of the whole song. Spotify, YouTube and co. use this value to match songs. Short-term and momentary show the loudest parts.
The real peak level between samples. Above −1 dBTP your song can distort when it’s converted to MP3 or AAC. Spotify even recommends −2 dBTP for loud masters.
PLR is the gap between peaks and loudness, LRA shows how much the loudness moves across the song. Together they tell you how hard a master is compressed.
Correlation, width and mono loss show whether your mix works on a phone and in a club. A bass that’s too wide is the usual troublemaker.
It depends on the genre. Spotify plays back at around −14 LUFS, rap, trap and pop are often mastered between −10 and −7 LUFS. More important: keep the true peak below −1 dBTP.
No. The analysis runs entirely in your browser, the file never leaves your device.
Loudness, loudness range and true peak are calculated according to ITU-R BS.1770 and EBU Tech 3342, like professional meters. Platform values are approximations, because streaming services can change their methods.
The notes under each check tell you what’s causing it. If you don’t know how to fix it, a mix review for €24.99 or mastering for €35 helps.
